This article was in the Mobile Register today, but I'm having a tough time finding a decent e-version. Anyway, you can read it here: http://today.sportingnews.com/sportingnewstoday/20081023/?pg=11 Charles Scott on Keiland's running last weekend: I sure hope this continues. I was loving watching those two last week. If Keiland keeps the attitude, he just might get additional opportunities to show off those moves and that speed. He just needs to get into the secondary first. You have to run through those first couple of arm tackles.
I like Keiland and I'm really not all that surprised to see the Scott/Keiland package. The only knock on him is that, supposedly, he puts the ball on the field in practice and we can't be havin' that.
Finesse after you pass the line of scrimage and get into the open field is optional. But you have to get there first.
he's over that... think about it... would Miles give Keiland the ball all those times trying to run out the clock against USC if he was fumble prone? They changed his technique holding the ball and it's fixed.
Would Miles had given him the ball back up in the endzone at Auburn if he wasn't over it? He got over that stuff a long time ago.
I likes me some KW. He had a great SC game last weekend. A complete departure from his performance over the first few games. I like to see him beating the criticism he was getting early. He was not only looking for the markers, he was beating them. A performing dual threat from the backfield only gives Crowton something extra to smile about. :tigereye:
I figured something had to of changed. Let's just hope that he changes and doesn't look back. I trust Leslie's judgment.
trindon for speed, keiland for finesse, scott for power, murphy for anything. what a sweet group of backs, how we dont do even better is beyond me!
