Of course he will be in the fight for it... we lose 2 seniors & our only options will be freshmen/sophmores. Phelon is definitely an unknown commodity. That doesn't mean he won't be good, just that we have no idea except for what we saw in his high school highlight tape.
I am not confident about the CB position next year and never said I was. In fact, I think it will the weakest link on the team (not depth wise, inexperienced starters wise).
http://www.palmbeachpost.com/highschools/content/sports/epaper/2007/11/13/a5c_HS_hatcher_1113.html Looks like Karnell is telling a local paper he's not a commit now. Sonny says he'll do a follow-up but the guess is that Karnell wanted it to be a silent commit.
guess he thinks other schools will lay off on him and he wont be treated like a king no more,no phone calls or nothing :bncry: Schools sometimes will pursue the recruit more once they "commit" somewhere else. I wonder how our coaches will take this
KH opening it back up....between USF, LSU, Auburn, and USCe "I guess you could say I'm still committed, but I haven't signed anything," said Hatcher. "I'm still pretty open."
Gave LSU a soft verbal, a little upset when word got out, surprised Pellini is leaving, happy Miles is staying: http://louisianastate.scout.com/2/708492.html Sit and wait until February.
Am I the only one who has a problem with this? I'm old school but when a man gives his word in confidence, it should NEVER see the light of day. No doubt I'm not familiar with all that goes on in the process but seems like it could be and should be kept quiet. In fact, it happens all the time where a signing day surprise wasn't such a big surprise to the receiving schools.
