Wonder what percent will vote for him this time? I mean, the false news narratives say Blacks hate him, though 14% support him. With all the fake news stories designed to make people believe he is a racist etc, I’d be surprised if he gets his 8% again ...... or maybe, there is a silent black majority forming.
Watch this and look at his face at the end: https://twitter.com/BIGDAVE21420668/status/1289598101649465344?s=19
https://news.gallup.com/poll/18526/blacks-blast-bush-katrina-response.aspx i suspect the 'respect' you speak of has taken place many years after his presidency
Got it! Like Trump used to be lauded by Jessie Jackson, Al Sharpton, etc, for his work with minorities, but an hour after he decided to run for the Presidency as a Republican he became a racist. Since W is a good guy now, I guess the common denominator is, Republican President = racist.
I don't know but I can't imagine that it tops 8-10% False news narratives? That's absurd. Silent black majority? That's laughable. But like I said in another thread, we only have to wait 91 more days to have this question answered.
I would say that the respect started somewhere near the end of Bush's Presidency. That said, he was judged by his entire body of work as President, not one moment. Trump is being judged the same. What can you point to that will endear him to the Black community?
Has it ever occurred to you that Trump started stoking racial divisions when he started running for President? Wonder why?
my point was in respect to bush, not trump, although the premise is valid.... has there been a republican president/presidential candidate not attacked by the left for being racist in the last, say 25 yrs.?
I am sure there are elements on the far left who would call themselves a racist to pacify their own hatred. However, reasonable people like myself are able to decipher the bull shit from the bull and don't recall calling any President, Democrat or Republican, a racist until Trump. I do get what you are saying but it could also be said that conservatives have called every Democratic President a socialist or worse.
