I like your yes and no answers! I suspect part of the apparent let down of the defense performance could be due to wear and tear from the trying schedule this year. I just hope the team can grind it out throught the next two games. The tough games (with all teams playing up and targeting LSU) is the price the LSU team has to pay in being ranked so high pretty much most of the season. They have to earn to keep their high ranking. I would love to see the team play in the bowl game after being given time to heal; by that time I think they will be scary again:thumb:
good point...if they can get past the SECCG we could see another VT type performance with almost a month of rest
We're a scary team. If we play a clean football game with no fancy crap -- can anyone beat us? I wouldn't bet on it.
And also like the Peach Bowl performance 2 seasons ago after the rest from that wretched SECCG against Georgia...i.e. that tough Katrina season.
Looking back at the 2002 tOSU football team they were winning ugly each week and tOSU fans were talking about how bad they played week in and week out but they kept winning and were able to take home the NCBCS:crystal: . It is not how you win or who you beat, it is the fact that you are the team left standing at the end with this:crystal:
