Former LSU recruit is now at UNO and will be eligible to leave and go to any division 1 school after the spring semester. Wonder if Trent will recruit him again? Could be a big addition to next years team.
No room at the inn. I would love to have him, but we will already have to lose a player to make room for the two we are signing in the 2011 class.
I know that UNO had budget issues, etc. Are they no longer considered to be D-1 in hoops (and all sports, for that matter)? :geauxtige
I think I saw that they went down to D3. The story said that Katrina ruined a lot of stuff and they couldn't compete in D1 anymore.
apparently the high school he went too was started by his father strictly for bball purposes and is not up to par w/ the academic side just yet. Also I would not be suprised to see him back, it will be hard but could happen. you know w/ all the oversigning we do.
Well we have 12 guys on scholarship now. Darron Populist is on one for this year as a walk-on. We have 2 guys coming in next year. It is rumored that Chris Bass may go off scholarship for next year to make room, but to take on Ross-Miller we would have to lose someone else. I'm not sure who that would be.
I am sure Brandon could pay for his little brother so we could use that scholarship for someone else or if Populist has to go back to being a walk on than so be it. This team need's a true point guard which would allow Stringer to return to his more natural position which is shooting guard.
It might be better to just move on. If he's had trouble academically already, there's always the chance it happens again.
