A nice article in WAPO about these comments today. You need more than a sound bite to understand the issue, and while I don't agree with the "mismatch" concept, I do not know much.

But, many scholars do and many scholars do not. Academic arguments have been offered in leading law journals, with both proponents and detractors citing their own data.

My point is not to agree or disagree (I don't but that is immaterial), but if you think the guy randomly uttered a sentence or two, demeaning minorities, you need to look a little deeper and form your judgements based on more depth of analysis rather than raw emotion.

Back to Affirmative Action, you want to demoralize a person, give them something by telling them you werent good enough to earn it on your own. Thats the ultimate insult.

Scalia is a terrible human being. He is one of those old school racist ass judges.

But I agree with everyone here about affirmative action. It's very stupid. Oh you just got this because of your race, that's just as bad as oh you didn't get this because of your race.

Supreme Court shouldn't be a lifetime appointment either.

You can't drive but you can make or decide on policy?

I was a bit surprised someone would defend the crap that spewed from the mouth of Limbaugh concerning McNabb.
