Rush never said that. He said Donovan McNabb got more credit for the Eagles' success than he deserved because the media wanted to be able to hype him as a great QB.

    True

As for affirmative action, it's shit but Scalia is way off base with this

Agree with the premise that affirmative action is wrong as you fix ravism by using racism but his arguement is something you would hear on a school yard rather than the sc.

@islstl But, yes, this was a stupid thing for Scalia to say. As to Fisher vs UT, I don't see how they can rule in UT's favor...discrimination against the majority is still discrimination.

read Scalia past briefs on AA, voting rights act, etc. This is his M.O. no one should be surprised.

And Limbaugh said more than that, but continue to bury your heads in the sand fellow birds, to cover up racism.

Everyone is racist to a degree. People just need to accept that. No way it will ever be gone. Much more tolerated, but never gone. Especially not with the backwards Middle East moving in our neighborhoods.

no one is arguing that it will forever be gone, but to use this in an oral argument at the SC, by a justice is pretty fucking telling.

Well he is old. I think much of what he thinks will die over time.

But, the whole group with him is pretty off the wall with their views.

If you are talking about McNabb id say no, that's pretty much what he said.
