I listened to part of his introduction and he took some direct shots at duh rayduhs. However, he is very full of himself.

Who really wants a likable fellow as head coach at Tennessee? Where is the fun in that? I hope he is good, and hated all at once. Tenn travels and recruits nation wide so when they tank, it reflects poorly on our conference as a whole.

They don't seem to be able to beat us in the SECG so who cares if he is a burr in the East? The more the better.

From an article by Tom Luginbill of Scouts Inc. analyzing the pros and cons of Kiffen when it comes to recruiting for Tennessee:

[At Southern Cal,] Kiffin was considered one of the nation's top recruiters. ... But it will be different at Tennessee. ... In the Pac-10, it was USC and everyone else. The Trojans were the big dog in the yard, and while they might lose a guy here or there, they weren't losing many top prospects to other schools in the conference. At Tennessee, Kiffin is now in a conference in which every school is in the hunt for the elite guys. Even schools that don't annually contend for conference crowns, such as Ole Miss or South Carolina, are still fighting for the top recruits. He'll have to get used to that kind of challenge because he didn't have that at USC.

after seeing the taped interview Im convinced he's in over his head. comes across as a dork.

I suppose his dad will carry his ass just like he has to this point in life.

its always the little spoiled kid who's accomplished little to nothing, and riding daddy's coattails, running their mouth.

if none of these generalizations are correct, Im still certain to piss off vball so its a win/win.
