You're one of the classiest posters I've come across on these things, period. The majority of college football fans are really not all THAT knowlegeable about what's really going on. For the most part, they follow their teams blindly and regurgitate what they've heard someone, who they think does know, say.
Building on that...a color commentator is meant to make comments; relying on how they break down a play as an accurate description of what actually happens on a play? Heck, I like hearing what Danielson, as one example, says during a game. But I don't fault him for making mistakes as he's often inclined to do.
terryp has a good site .He puts good information If I had of thought it over one time , I would have thought it over again .I would not have made the post . I was not trying to put the admin at Tide Fans down , he can treat his site anyway he wants to. he does not let anyone put his team down , or let his members brag to much about Bama . I go in Tide Fans to find out the mind set of Bama fans , not just Tide Fans but 3 other forums . The 1st time I remember being in Tide Fans I saw his post "No LSU fans may post in here " Then after OS won the bowl game thought why not and took a little peek all I saw was his post , I do not know if that is wrong or not , I can back to Tiger Fans , still laughing , not trying to understand him , or his reason . And for that I was wrong . He has a good site and puts up a lot of information., When I bet on LSU I go into the other teams fan pages to see how they are talking about the game . That gives me a little insight as to maybe what the team thinks . Sometimes I do make a penny bet , and I hate to loose a penny bet . As bad as I wanted LSU to win the bowl game when it started I told my wife they are flatfooted ND was on their toes . As fans we were flatfooted the Music City Bowl was not good enough . Tennessee came out on their toes .Then they stayed on their toes . I have seen LSU teams that could and would do that .
I don't know how others do that. I spend more time on this site than I should, and have no interest, inclination, or time to visit other sites.
