Manning now has a 9-9 career playoff record. Only five quarterbacks in NFL history have started 10 or more postseason games and have a lower winning percentage. .500 … Peyton Manning (9-9) .500 … Steve McNair (5-5) .455 … Mark Brunell (5-6) .444 … Dan Marino (8-10) .417 … Dave Krieg (5-7) .417 … Randall Cunningham (5-7) .300 … Warren Moon (3-7) Manning threw two interceptions in his first five postseason games. He’s thrown 17 in his last 13. Here are the nine quarterbacks Manning has beaten in the postseason: Jake Plummer twice, Trent Green twice, Steve McNair, Tom Brady, Rex Grossman, Joe Flacco and Mark Sanchez.
id say he is underrated. hes the only person to ever act as player, oc, and hc at the same time...while not having a defense that gets him on the field. he almost won the super bowl by himself. ok, with reggie wayne. pretty amazing. perhaps the missing piece is peyton hiring himself as dc.
so dallas clark is a scrub and I suppose Joe Addai is an embarrassment to the league Marvin Harrison is first ballot hof'er. He is the Rice to Young/Montana. come one people, why are so many of you like lemmings falling off a cliff believing what the media espouses.
If that list is indicative of frauds I wouldnt mind being in the same company as Marino and Moon. Those 2 guys rarely had a team to match their skills and its why they lost so many playoff games. I hate Manning but he is no fraud. If it wasnt for him Indy would be an after thought. He carries that team.
Yeah he isn't a fraud, an attention whore, yes, kind of slow in the melon, maybe, ugly as sh!t, hell yes. A douchebag, of course, but he is a damn good quarterback. His team suffered from being scared going into that game. They played scared and they got beat like a scared team.
