Just curious when was the last time LSU was unranked in all

Not a slam just curious.

 

Nov. 23rd 2001.....before we played and beat #24 Ark.

 

That is the year we went to hot lanta and beat Tenn....

 

1999 is the last complete season I saw where we weren't ranked.

 

That is true; however was ask when the last time LSU was unranked in top 25.....that would be Thanksgiving week 2001..............you are right that '99 was the last full season.........

 

this season has been one hell of a title hangover. this team seem to lose any intensity it had left after a tough bama loss.

 

So this is the first time LSU hasnt been ranked in 7 years ?

Sorry, after some more checking I see were LSU droped out of the top 25 after a lose to Ark. Thanksgiving week 2002.....we lost to Texas in the Cotton in Jan 2003.....however we were pre-season #17 starting the 2003 season.....so the last time LSU was not in the top 25 was from the First week of Dec. 2002 until pre-season polls for 2003...........from the first week of the 03 season until today LSU was ranked in all polls top 25 in football............

 

2002. We fell out of the Top 25 after losing three out of our last five regular season games. We had a shot at returning to the Top 25 if we won our bowl game, but we lost that as well.

 

Right. It was the third-longest streak in the NCAA, behind Texas (2000-today) and Southern Cal (2002-today). Next best is Ohio State (2004-today), Florida (2005-today), Oklahoma (2005-today), and Georgia (2006-today).
