I have been reading all the BCS posts and the people telling everyone not to be negative posts and this and that and it comes down to one thing for me. We control our own destiny in this and we have the team to do it. I believe in this team and have such a pride in the way they have taken on all comers no matter what. Our Tigers have already put up an amazing resume this year and done everything asked of them. Our Tigers have thrived on playing hard competition and have earned the other teams respect. Even our detractors have had that want for us to lose but we keep on proving them wrong and it irritates the hell out of them. The so called experts like Urban stinkin Meyer predicting Bama, David Pollack, Lou Holtz. Screw em. We are the LSU Tigers and bring em on. We will play anyone , anywhere, anytime you so called experts. As of right now we got our eyes on having some bacon and ham come friday. We are gonna bury a pig in the ground, put the beer on ice and all our rowdy friends are gonna be coming to a party Cajun Style and we are gonna be loud, proud, and show em all we mean business. I am through worrying about the BCS or who are qb is or who we might have to play. This is the time for all Tiger fans everywhere to stand up and dont be nervous. We control our own destiny, and I love having games with so much on the line. I'm always nervous when we play big games, but it is an excited nervousness. This has been an exceptional season and I hope we stay on course to make history as the greatest team in BCS history and maybe the best of all time.
Same here. I've been screaming for improved OOC games for years. SO glad our program has beefed up our schedule. They actually surpassed my expectations and I was actually worried they may have gone to far on the other end of the spectrum. Who wants to watch our Tigers curb stomp teams like UL, McNeese, etc?

Agree, the fear of playing good out of conference teams has helped us in bcs rankings. I'd like to see us drop one of the pushovers next season and play on the Jerry bowl again.
Just getting myself mentally ready for this Friday"s game. During the quiet is when i recharge the force. As an Old Star Wars fan i am asking for all of us to use the force against the evil empire. I can feel the force working with us and it is strong. But there are forces trying to work against us. Use the force tigers. It is always with you. And i have a strange craving for Ham this week.
