We need an OL not sure why that is lost on you. Ensminger is garbage but if they had anyone, like seriously a single one linemen that could block anything but his own arteries we may have had a shot. Even with E!
The Offensive line got blown up too much to win. Solid O-Line play could have made a real difference. Still, i saw some very good play from LSU. But in the end 'Bama made the plays to win. Sucks. I'm not ready to put the LSU coaching staff before a firing squad. I have been seeing progress. I like what i'm seeing. But tonight we didn't make THOSE plays.
Bama dominated us on both sides of the line of scrimmage. Until we recruit the talent level Bama is I'm afraid it's going to be more of the same.
After all this time, I have now come to believe that it is unlikely we will beat Saban again. He knows this is the big in-season game for his program. He has the bye week just before us, he has our top talent, and he has the game plan plus desire to beat our ass and he does. Otherwise, we are still a competitive program - with just about everyone else.
I agree. He's a nice little QB. But there are a lot of QBs who can hit wide open receivers while standing in a clean pocket......including Joe Burrow.
