Penn, PSU will bounce back. It will take time. A clean sweep is necessary, to include both Joe Pa and McQueary.

PSU football needs to begin again with a blank slate. If you could attract Urban Meyer to the HC job, let him rebuild the program.

The victims may never bounce back, however. A child that is sexually abused almost never grows up to be a normal adult with normal problems.

I hope you don't end up having some family members get in on the class action suit.

Just trying to help him get more people to read what he wrote.

Would have been ashamed to click the back button just because of the formatting.

    He understood.

    Now what were you saying?

I call bullsh!t - Joe could have done more!

You may just be giving Joe Pa the benefit of the doubt here, but honestly, these are horrible crimes, and until you know more facts I wouldn’t side either way. As for Joe Pa, You don’t just report this and move on, you don’t just put this in the back of your mind and keep working.

He was close to Sandusky, very close. At the very least, Joe should have separated himself from university for the university "not" taking action up until it was settled. Joe obviously knew that Sandusky was in no trouble with the law for years after this was reported. Joe obviously knew that Sandusky was close to these boys if he continued bringing them around the campus and to bowl games and had to wonder what in the hell Sandusky was indeed doing with these kids.

Joe Pa chose his career and Legacy at Penn St. over the innocence lives of those young boys. He decided to look the other way and focus on his football career.

It’s disgusting and selfish, if my best friend of 30 years or brother was accused of these crimes, Id see that sh!t through. It would take all I had not to knock the sh!t out of him on the thought of the allegations alone. You can bet, I wouldn’t just move forward like it was nothing, id want closure, assurance!

This is a very sad time right now, no offense, but Penn St, its football team, its fans, etc. need to take a step back. Because this isn’t about them right now, this about those kids, now men and their families.

This whole things makes me phucking sick

Go back and read my post. I fail to see how your response relates to what I said.

In many of these threads you have spoken how things move through proper chains of command at universities. How supervisors make decisions on how things are handled. All don't think anything like this falls into normal ways things are handled and that the assistant should have never left the scene and called the cops first thing.
I'm not saying you said he shouldn't have done the same thing. I just see how universities tend to handle things in house. This shouldn't have been one of those things.
