Heads Up Something could go down today... QB Zach Lee WR Justin Hunter WR Kevin Anderson RB Storm Johnson (still need confirmation that he made it) All will be on campus today. I am crossing my fingers for commits from Lee and Storm.
That would be gigantic.. not getting my hopes up just yet though. I'm not sure we're in a position to take a commit from Anderson right now.. that would shock me a bit. But Storm.. opcorn:
Does Zach Lee have any "free" film to view haven't really seen any film on him...is he really good what are yall thoughts on him
OG Wes Rea did not make camp because he pulled a hamstring in a baseball game the night before he was supposed to leave.
This will be the last camp where information is easy to come by. SEC just passed a rule banning all media from summer camps. The NCAA is working on passing this rule on to all conferences.
dont understand why the rule is needed but if the NCAA doesnt follow suit for eveyone its a disadvantage for the SEC. kids want to go to camps where they get media coverage.
Talking about live media coverage. All information about a camp and the attending prospects will only be allowed to be released after the prospect leaves campus. Films recapping each day, photos, etc will not be allowed to be released until the camp concludes. This won't mean much to schools like Bama who have camps closed to the media for the most part. But say someone commits early at the camp, fans are not supposed to know until after he leaves which could be 3-5 days after the commit. I am sure there will be leaks about that kind of info anyway. Well at least I hope but Scout and Rivals will not be able to release that info so we now will have to suffer through rumors about commits until the camp concludes.
We'll just have to get our information the wat the New England patriots used to.... get a spy at the camps !!!
I read that there are loop holes and pretty meaningless rule change and Scout and Rivals, etc.. shouldn't have a problem getting info out for the most part. Basically, when camps are closed to the public the media is supposed to be closed out as well. But most camps are not closed to the public, so the media can just walk in anyway.
