Les called WR James Wright out of Belle Chasse today and asked him to come see him and gave him an offer. We are now in the mix but I wouldn't say a shoe in with the guys we alrady have committed. I feel pretty good about it however and so does Wright. I will start a thread on him when I get back from Vacation tomorrow.
Watch out for OG Alex Hill out of Slidell. Some rumblings that the staff likes him more than O.C. Brown and Hill would be a LSU lock if offered.
Alabama LB Ladarius Owens had a better than expected visit to LSU this weekend. He just came out with a top 5 in order and LSU is #2 behind Auburn. Followed by Bama, Tenn, and FSU. Either way he is a lock to Auburn but not to see he thinks so highly of us after getting on campus.
All we know as of now is WR James Wright and a verbal offer to 2011 RB Kenny Hilliard. (2011 WR Jarvis Landry got his verbal offer weeks ago) Official offers can't go out to 2011 kids until late July I believe. Most of the kids just got to camp this morning and will be here through Wednesday. BTW, I just updated the 1st post with a few instate guys at camp.
