Here we sit with a struggling RS Frosh at QB and a true freshman. Would it make some sense to recruit a very successful JUCO QB that can enroll in the spring practice with the team through spring and summer to get ready for next year. It's a major reach but we have been successful at other positions with this strategy. I know QB is much, much more difficult than any other position. The alternative is we are faced with underacheiving QB's in Lee and Hatch, unproven QB in Jefferson and a true freshman in Russell. That is a scary scenario.
Its not necessary, over reacting. We have some good qb's over the years and have never needed these kind of players. It is no different sitution than MM going into the game once Rohan was hurt or JR starting for the first time. We will be fine next year, JJ and Russell Sheppard are top recruits. Someone will pan out, just may take a little time.
Hell screw JUCO I am sure there is an intermural flag football QB on campus that is better then Lee!!!:grin:

Here I got some fuel....I thought Saban already has RP coming in next year as his starting QB..even has the playbook already. No Juco QB though...even if he's better than Lee would Les ever play him over Lee:huh:
