this week, Urban Meyer made an appearance on Fox News' "The O'Reilly Factor." Much of Bill O'Reilly's interview, which was scheduled so Meyer could promote his new book, "Above the Line," focused on the "culture" of Meyer's program at Ohio State and how things are pretty swell for the Buckeyes at the moment. Meyer simply referred to his coaching style as "militaristic," explaining that he uses "small unit cohesion" to help push the team forward to victory. Rather than delve into that, O'Reilly detoured to contrast Meyer's approach in Columbus with how O'Reilly views behavioral issues are being handled in Tallahassee. “Now a lot of the big-time teams have trouble, you know. They have kids that are in trouble for one reason or another,” O'Reilly said. “Look at Jameis Winston down in Florida State. He steals some crab legs or something. But the guy's a brilliant quarterback, so they let it go down there. I don't think you would have let it go, right?” Without being too specific, Meyer answered O'Reilly question. “That would have been hard to let that go,” he said. Oops. careful what you say urban.
tirk, I caught part of that O'Reilly piece and wanted to puke at what that punk was saying. As far as the suspension, he has C Jones so it's not like a big deal.
