yall referring to me? ive got directv. just prefer not to pay more to watch the same # of lsu games. if i get to see more lsu games then its worth it. that being said, as soon as i can get the same # of lsu games online at a decent quality im dropping tv. the tv will exist solely for movies and guitar hero. btw, i dont really like football, just lsu football (and the saints). cant remember the last time i watched an entire game that lsu wasnt in (definitely Bama/Miami 92 and probably a few of the UT/UF games in the 90s, possibly OhioSt/Miami NC game).

Yeah, I know it seems crazy. The Expense is $50+/mth. I love football, but I'm also newly married. And the wife and I are going on a 2 - 3 week trip to Europe next July (haven't nailed down the dates yet) so, we've been trying to curb our spending habits. Which means, I gave up cable and I have to admit. I don't miss it. With the internet the way it is, there aren't many reasons to even have cable. For instance, look at ESPN 360. It's their internet channel. They multi-cast live games on it and their other channels and they also put up the games for instant replay after they're finished. I'm hoping this SEC deal means that a large majority of their games will be broadcast online too. I'm working on trying to get ESPN 360 on my phone too. Which will mean I can bring it anywhere. I guess, for me, it's a matter of choice. And internet is just a better decision for me. I just read this from the Scout.com article: So does this mean that the broadcast could still be on broadcast tv, and just instead of saying "JP Sports" it will be ran by ESPN?
