Was just watching the replay on NFL network of the Saints/Falcons game.

There was a long pass play to Roddy White where Ryan was scrambling for his life and make an incredible play out of it.

Josh Bullocks has the angle on White but decides to start covering a part of the field with no Atlanta WR in sight. In la la land, basically.

I really need to know why does he play for any NFL team, much less start for the Saints?

    Can't tackle.
    Can't cover.
    Can't react.
    Always out of position.
    Can't blitz the QB.
    Can't hit.

The only thing keeping Bullocks in the Saints starting lineup is that, when you look at the alternatives on the roster, he doesn't look all that bad.

He was so slow to respond that he was 7 yards back (when he should have been making a bone crushing hit on the receiver instead) and lucked into a pick.

Because the Saints player evaluation is, and always has been, absolutely pathetic.
