Does anybody know if Brady even tried to recruit Jeffrey Jordan Michael Jordan's who is actually a 3* Star guard and is good pure point guard and not sellfish. Who have been a great fit for our team http://http://rivalshoops.rivals.com/viewprospect.asp?Sport=2&pr_key=12641
Really, but Temple and Ben Voogd are good enough? I think I would take my chances with little Mike. Press coverage would be beneficial and recruiting may be helped with the thought of Jordan being in the stands and his connections with the Wizards. I really think this is a win-win situation for any team that gets him. I am just bitter b/c I know John Brady hasn't thought of any of this.
Thats a little hypocritical... Why take a chance on a more than likely non SEC PG when we have already done the same on a few others? And don't question me on Voogd, I didn't recruit him. I think PR would be good, but we dont have any problems recruiting. We have problems selecting which recruits we need.
That's what came to mind when I read it. Just to have MJ hanging around would be huge. Maybe he could do some volunteer assisting.
I wouldn't expect MJ to go to very many games at all...maybe 1 or 2 a year. He rarely goes to his sons games anyways because of work. He just doesn't like getting in the spotlight that much. He loved Carolina, but you never see him there. Just my guess...
The kid only has offers from Davidson and Valpo. Roy Williams has essentially told him that he should go somewhere else, because he'd never play at UNC. It'd be nice to have MJ and his kid around, but probably not worth it as the kid isn't very good...and MJ wouldn't be around anyway. Also, I don't think MJ will be helping anybody with his connections with the Wizards...they fired him a few years ago. He is, however, the president of player operations for the Bobcats.
Doesnt he have two sons playing on the same team? I think the younger one is better and might get some better offers.
