No offense, but when you have to taught the play of a seldom-used TE as a bright spot for the game, then we really don't have the team we thought we had.

...I'm afraid there isn't enough practice time to get all of those up-downs in!

I think people that feel that way saw quite a few of those option plays where except for one (when he launched the ball poorly and Shepard had to chase it down) he didn't really even fake a pitch...he was keeping it all the way.

Whoa!!!! Easy there, killa! As much as I cursed JJ from the last play of the 1st half until the end of the game, and as much as I remain firm in my opinion that JJ offers little in the department of "having a clue" in pressure situations, I think pulling a QB that just completed a half of football that had him guide the team to a 30-10 lead...

...well...you start doing THAT, and what message does that send your QB's???

On the flip side....I think Lee deserves a shot again.

As well as Ridley played, his fumble at the end was inexcuseable. Your opponent had no TO's left...a first down ices the game....and you run UP THE MIDDLE WITH ONE HAND ON THE BALL?!?!?!

Just because those mistakes didn't cost us the game, doesn't mean they are easily excused or forgotten. KW was put in the doghouse for similar issues.... I think Ridley just bought himself benchtime. Look for Ford to get some carries.

I thought jj looked ok the first half. he didn't look afraid to let it fly..looked like to me the int at the end of the half, he was trying to throw it away but didn't make it to the sidelines...NC made some adjustments at the half and took away his primary recievers..thats when he started holding the ball too long took way to long to go through his reads. i thought the oline played better..but t-bob sucks..he gets knocked into the backfield every running play and his pass blocking is weak..after initial contact with the d-line he lets them get away.
the play calling in the first half was better, or we executed better, than last year, but the second half was awefull. 3rd and 7 and we hand it to ridley up the middle...why not just punt on 3rd and negate a return?

hopefully jj will watch the film and improve...we should beat vandy..but miss state will be a test if we do not improve.

Atleast we didn't lose to jacksonville st.

Jefferson simply shows no progress from last year... Plan as day. Lee is no stud but its beginning to make sense that he looks better in practice (spring and fall) than Jefferson.

it seems for for the past couple of years, lee looks good in practice, but the problem is he turns into bambi when he gets under the lights.

i'm not against the kid at all, but i havent seen that he can take that practice and translate it to games.

I truly believe Lee would be better this year than he has been the last two years and for one reason... pass blocking. Last night, the pass blocking seemed to be light years beyond what it has been the last two years.

    You guys are F*cking ridiculous!

Why do you even post on here. Why the F*ck cant you just see the good, accept that nobody is perfect, we got the first game jitters out of the way, we have some film to review, some fumbles that prvented us from scoring late and some holding calls that really hurt as well.

Take those away and this game would have been 44-10 easily!

JJ looked about what I expected, he did well when nobody was open and scrambled for 4 to 6 yards, hit some receivers in stride, hooked up with RR on a bomb, I thought JJ looked Good. I saw a lot of improvement!

I thought ridley looked good, made some guys miss, just needs to focus on holding on to the ball!

I thought our D-Line looked good, really good, cant run on LSU this year!

    PP LOOKED F*CKING GREAT!!!!!

We had a few miscues and need to make some changes, but WE WON THE F*CKING GAME, Jesus Christ Man! Are you pissed we didnt when 72-0???????

Why the f*ck are you even a damn fan!!!! STOP WATCHING LSU FOOTBALL PLEASE!!!!!!!

As for being a championship contender, dude we played a ranked team, with good talent! Yes they had some guys out, i get it, but did you watch UF or UT yesterday???? Are they still championship contenders to you anymore, they struggled as well

The selfish part that I am talking about is when they run the option. I can think of only one time last night that he actually tossed the ball to his RB. He seems to think he can do everything with his feet. Even the idiot Kirk Herbstreit commented on him keeping the ball almost every time...
