Can we get this bum Jefferson out of the game and put a real quarterback in? TC McCartney is just wasting away on the sideline. :hihi:
Man he had some beautiful throws in the Auburn game. The one long to Tolliver on the first drive when Tolliver was interfered with was money. That had 6 written all over it. The one to Randle was right in front of where i was sitting and it was beautiful. The one to Tolliver in the back of the endzone was perfect. Big difference, the line gave him time, and i didn't see near as many audibles from the coaching staff at the line of scrimmage.
Dont you realize that he is terrible, one of the worst ever to play the position.:dis: Whats wrong with you LaSalle, take off your P&G glasses. He is doing the samething he always does, he only played average in the 1st quarter, the rest of the way he was terrible.... I shouldnt have to explain this to you, its only been said 100 times on this forum.
I just watched a replay and can't understand the criticism of JJ. He repeatedly made accurate passes that few LSU quarterbacks could consistenly make. The fade to Toliver for a TD was great. The play in the first half would have been a TD if not for pass interference. I don't remember an LSU quarterback, with the exception of Tommy Hodson, that could make those throws with such little game experience. Keep in mind, no running game. Last season, Lee had to play without a defense. This season, JJ has to win without a running game.
I agree. Really the only thing that stood out to me was that he was still dropping back a little too far, at times, but if that's his biggest problem, we are in good shape. Sure he missed on a couple of throws, but overall, he was pretty on target. Plus, he is still getting better.
Jefferson finally had a really good game, but he doesn't rate mention in the same sentence with Hodson yet. It was Lee that broke all of Hodson's freshman records last year, not Jefferson. Jefferson's still running the #10 offense in the SEC this season. I don't remember any LSU offense that was as poor.
Coaching staff needs to emphasize tucking the ball away when he takes off. JJ repeatedly palms the ball and runs with it extended away from his body. :dis: I question the legitamacy of the JJ endzone fumble recovered by Auburn. The legs of the Auburn player that recovered the ball were clearly out of bounds. Sorry if this is repetitive...someone else may have already posted it since it was almost a pivotable play.
