    Maybe, David Garrard?

He is great at staying in the pocket as long as possible and getting himself out of trouble when he needs to.

I watched a lot of the Desty vids linked to the second one above, man that #5 kid Johnson is a neat lil player, similar to Trindon I would say (without the world class speed I'm sure). Anyone know where he's going?

Yes, JJ and Tim Molton both look like studs. For this reason, I would almost prefer for us to let the Pryor thing go. It really sends the wrong message to JJ. Having said that, you can never have too much talent or competition, I suppose, and injuries can change things in a flash. As the defending NC, it does seem that we need to pursue the #1 talent if he is interested in us, too. It's one of those catch 22s. I know Miles is probably torn, b/c he is a straight up guy who values commitment. At least we have JJ as a verbal.

As has been noted many times, his throwing stroke looks "raw". But there are some pretty accurate strikes there across his body and on the move. And he seems to be pretty fast when he decides to tuck and run.

Molton looks good. And that #5 is a quick little runner as well. Destrehan's offense was loaded this year, no doubt.

Im sure Les hasn't lied to this guy or made any promises for example: "your the only QB we are recruiting" .Some ppl tend to forget that we did have two even three QBs committed in this class at one point. Even if Pryor doesn't come we are in the running for Russell Shepard,Broderick Thomas Jr. and AJ McCarron from St.Paul Ala. which we are recruiting two of his teammates already M.Barron and Destin Hood amongst others QBs next year. He's coming to LSU no matter what this is his dream school there is competition everywhere it's what makes one better.

For going on 2 years now, nearly every single clip of Destrehan has Demarris Johnson in it making huge plays. It is abundantly clear that he is an amazing playmaker - time after time, clip after clip - game after game he is breaking big runs and catches. I really hope the staff finds a place for him because he can be used like Trindon and I don't think TH will be on the team next year and we need to start looking for a replacement.

I am not sure about his grades, but with 2 teammates going to LSU he may be willing to grey shirt.

Demarius Johnson is a commitment to purdue. I don't believe we recruited him. I would guess that it's a case of you cant take them all. Despite our rivals ranking i think it says something about the quality of our recruiting class this year when there is no room in it for a guy like Demarius.
