it's not that he relies on anyone. those boys have been playing together for most of their lives, they are a TEAM. they connect well and work with each other to get things done. if you have been around them on and off the field for the past 4 years, they play together and for each other, not for themselves. none of them rely on the other one to make him look good.
Watching more video of JJ....impressive. Good arm, mobile when necessary, accurate (but aren't all highlight videos :thumb, and can take a hit. One thing I noticed which I'm sure is fixable....he seems to throw side arm an awful lot...just an observation.
yeah, when i first observed romo all i could think of was that funky throwing motion and wondering if he could really be successful in this league throwing like that......well he answered that this season
Anyone who has an above average arm and is accurate can be successful even with deficiencies. If they can correct those mechanical problems and retain their accuracy, they'll be even better...but you are playing with fire if you try to massively overhaul a throwing motion, it could ruin everything so if they are getting the job done it's best just to tweak things like footwork.
If anyone is interested in the BR area. The 5A championship will be played again on COX tomorrow @ 7PM.
