and your point is? they still played with each other. for several seasons. That's like saying Russell had no talent alongside him, because Bowe and Doucet didn't come in the same year as him.

wanna bet? do some homework and figure out who predicted Perrilloux was a Tiger on this forum 1st. And stood by that prediction no matter what Rivals, Scout, dandydon, etc... said.

I remember it well. Clair was a newbie and was made fun of early on as some silly kid who thought he knew it all.

    Well he knew this.

I'm not saying he didnt have talent around him just JJ had better around him AND RP is the better QB in hs.JJ wasn't even the MVP of his District. I still think JJ has the potential to be a good QB at LSU.

I would bet so b/c you knew RP was coming to LSU that means you know him more? Do you realize how many ppl that really knew RP knew that.I give you it if you are related to RP or maybe went out with his sister sometime ago but besides that you cant think what you want but I 've been knowing RP longer than you.

yeah. I think so. And this isn't about personality. I could care less what his favorite ice-cream is or what his favorite color is. But I know his game better.

And the things he did in high school were so saturated because while 5-a was tougher then, ESJ's district was a cakewalk at the time.

What do Terrebonne, HL Bourgeois, Ellender, South Lafourche, Central Lafourche all have in common? They all stunk at the time and were blowouts for the Wildcats.

The only tough teams ESJ had to play were Thibodaux, Hahnville and Destrehan and he lost to Hahnville far more often than he won and he got destroyed by Destrehan his senior season.

My entire point is this: He did unrealistic things. He would run around in and out of the pocket for sometimes 15-20 seconds before he would either run or throw the ball. And as a result, when he faced a "real" team, who had other "real" athletes, he always lost.

Whereas, in my opinion, Jefferson runs a far more "realistic" system that emphasizes balance and game management, which is far more like the system he will play in at LSU.

So while, Perrilloux was statistically a far better player in high school, no doubt, I think Jefferson will be more ready than Perrilloux was to play in the fall.

When RP was a true freshman, there was a 0% chance of him actually playing, b/c he was still in the habit of doing his high school, Reggie Bush stunts of running backwards and stuff, b/c he thought he was still the biggest dog in the pound.

Jefferson doesn't have these bad habits to break, so he will be more ready to play collegiately than RP was.

I'm not talking about knowing personality or whatever I was talking about knowing him as the actual person but it doesnt matter. If RP went to another school he probably would've played earlier than at LSU especially at Texas or Miami. IMO Jefferson has a B.Leftwich delivery that they may change at the next level but he still has a strong arm though. You are right he may see the field earlier than RP but it probably be because he wont have a JR or MF in front of him where JJ will have J.Lee thats it which has no playing exp so far.

Leftwich, for his career at Marshall completed 939 of 1,442 passes (65.1 percent) for 11,903 yards, 89 touchdowns and only 28 interceptions. He amassed 12,090 yards of total offense on 1,632 plays, ranking second on the school’s all-time record lists behind Chad Pennington.

Yeah. What a dilemma, having all those top-level quarterbacks competing, and only one ball. We'll hardly be able to sleep at night.
