yes, and to say he is a bulldog is probably an understatement.... :: Baton Rouge Business Report :: The bulldog in your court
IF JJ is switching attorneys it may be because Fisher sees no way to get him out of this. I don't think JJ has been telling the whole truth and there is only so much an attorney can do IF you are guilty. I do agree, though, I would have liked to have heard the players side sooner, so that JJ and others did not get convicted by the media. It bothers me that JJ's witnesses are carrying much less weight than are the ones for that dbag Lowery.
I like your idea of a redshirt year for JJ. I also think they should give Victoria Long and Andrew Lowery a one way ticket out of town. Has anyone asked why the 19 year old b _ _ _ _, Victoria Long, is at a bar 1:30 in the am on a school night?
i wondered early in the week if fisher was a quick short term solution to give their families time to find their own counsel for each if needed. it gave them time to get recommendations and find someone for each individual. i dont know if that was the case but if so, it makes sense. just so the guys werent without representation when interviewed, but the families didnt have to rush to find counsel.
Fisher probably had conflicts he couldn't reconcile, but I'll tell you this: Lewis Unglesby is a hell of a criminal lawyer. JJ is in good hands.
as long as he is innocent JJ is in good hands. IF evidence supports his guilt, all the attorney can do is try to plead it down as much as possible. It will be interesting to see what the real evidence is, because up to now, I don't think we have see the real evidence.
