always was more of a Flynn fan than Russell, so don't automatically group me in with everybody else.
However, JR was an ACCURATE passer at LSU (not a great QB)

you don't complete 67% of your passes by accident.

    you said it yourself

the balls he's throwing now are not catchable.
not eve close to being catchable.
he is missing guys by 15 -20 yards, sometimes even worse than that.

Accuracy was never one of his problems before now.

Yeah, but Jimbeaux Fisher knew what JR's strengths and weaknesses were, and he called plays that fit JR's style. Lots of quick slants, go routes, screens, and in routes. Ever notice that the only passes JR seems to be able to complete in the NFL are go or seam routes, in routes, screens, and quick slants? We always wondered when Jimbeaux was here, why in the hell is the offense so predictable, why are they running the same plays every time. Well there you go, because JR cant do anything else. When you have a player that can only handle a handful of plays, you stick to those plays. Jefferson fits this mold, except the pass play he seems to be really good at, is when he rolls to his right.

To me, coaches shouldn't try and make players fit their style, coaches should adapt to the players style. You can't make a player into something he isn't.

Ok I can go with this, he was better here @ LSU because of the play calling.

Same coaches that kept Flynn on the bench when he should have been playing. IMHO.

JR was so "accurate" because he threw so many screens/quick slants to Doucet, Bowe, Davis, etc. Now that he is in the pros and it is required that the majority of this throws be longer than 5-10 yards, we are seeing what he always was - a dumb QB with loads of talent.

He's just a big, fat, slow Michael Vick.
