It's the fact he has that dimension that you have to worry about him running with the ball that separates him from Lee.

    That's huge.

The kid has a better arm than Lee, and I didn't think that would be the case.

Glad to see him finally getting some valuable playing time.

    Clair, yo boy looks good.

He plays way smarter too. The light is on and obviously stays on!

I never wanted to see Lee get injured, but unfortunately, that's what it took to give JJ a legit shot. Miles has been saying that JJ isn't ready, but JJ, a true freshman has shown WAY more promise than Lee already.

He throws passes away when there's nothing there, he can run, he can sell a zone read, the guy can flat out play.

Lee needs to ride the bench from here on out. Thanks for what good you contributed to the team, Lee, but this is JJ's team now. Lee had his chance.

The line needs to freaking block! What happened?

That's the main thing. He "gets it". Lee never did. Lee was deer in the headlights nearly all the time.

He does show potential but I think it's a little early to proclaim him the starter for next year.

Still a chance that Shepard could just come in like gangbusters, but definitely Jefferson over Lee going into the Spring.

JJ looks great. That pick wasn't even his fault really. Bad situation and a tip-drill.

Alright, I'll say it... I wonder how many in the crowd were cheering when Lee was being helped off the field simply because he was leaving, not just because he wasn't seriously hurt.

I couldn't have been the only one thinking that.

He really gave his all. He's a class-act and I hope he sticks around.. he'll be a dependable back-up.
