He had a couple wonderful games THIS season, but you racists fricks refuse to see it.

Seriously, LSU had 500 ypg in the last two games prior to the SECCG. We never came CLOSE to that before. It's a team game, and it's clear the running game has been better with JJ in the game. The passing game was (up until yesterday) even, but not great with either one of them.

Yesterday was abysmal. But there's a reason for Miles' decisions. He's not as stupid as other fans think, and not NEARLY as stupid as LSU fans think.

Exactly!! 80% of that post was just not true. Look, we won. We've had a great year, but it sure isn't BECAUSE of JJ. It's mostly in spite of Jefferson. I would be cool with that if JJ didn't carry on like he was the best that ever was.

JJ has played very well in our bowl games! He can do it again. And TM7 is good for a TD and another 7 points off of a turnover. We win.

Since JJ's return he has only faced two good defenses. (Alabama & Georgia)

We won both which is great but here's the red flag. These are his collective numbers from those two games.

    11-23
97 yards (63 yards when you subtract the long of 34 yards)
    1 TD

We NEED the defense and special teams to keep winning games. We've never been able to effectively move the ball through the air with JJ and probably won't if we face Alabama again. The offensive line has to open holes for the running game to move the chains.

Overall I think we're better than Alabama but our weakness (passing) really hurts us. Hopefully Miles has a month to overcome this shortcoming.

JJ played well in the Chick-fil-A and Cotton Bowl. He was not good at all against Penn State in the Capital One Bowl. The final minute of the game had him staring at the center as the clock ticked to zero. He had absolutely no clue what he was doing that day.

They ran a go route on the 2nd play of the game to Randle it was thrown late and short

Yes, creative stats. Love it. Subtract the best play so it'll skew the numbers.

LOOK! No turnovers! (and no mention of no turnovers)

Please dissect Lee's numbers against all the good defenses he's faced this year. I'll hang up and listen...

(btw, Lee started the Bama game...post his stats for that one, bro)

I'm not going to say anything in this thread.

Suffice it to say that JJ's QB capability, at times, is incredible and hard to believe.

Wrong, "coach". JJ missed a streaking Randle in their first or second possession of the game. JJ underthrew him BADLY and not only that, but Randal HAD to break off his route and veer back to the middle of the field. That allowed Boykin to make up the ground that he HAD BEEN beaten by.

Creative stats? What are you smoking? I listed the long pass play. I simply stated that single catch accounted for more than 1/3 of his passing yards. That's not fuzzy math. That's a fact!

I'm not here defending Lee. I'm here stating the obvious...Jefferson NEVER has and NEVER will be a well-rounded QB. That's it. Maybe the truth hurts but it's still the truth.

Did you watch the game yeterday? ZERO first downs in an entire half. ZERO!

Didn't they show a stat that it had NEVER happened before in a SEC game?

This isn't an argument about Lee/Jefferson. It's quite clear Lee is the better passer.

This is about Miles sticking with Jefferson and some of us breaking down the game for strengths and weaknesses. The defense and special teams are the strengths. The QB play is the weakness. PERIOD.
