    It's been about a lawsuit against a high-profile figure from a couple of night club low-lifes from the beginning. It will be settled out of court for a lot less than they imagine.

    Ah, the story that just will not die. And, again, what "convenient" timing, though (of course) Jefferson has not made all that much money, anyway.

    They'll be lucky to collect much of anything. What SHOULD have happened was the resignation of the BR police chief for his entire incompetent handling of the case. Also, consequences should be there for the BR DA who quite frankly has already been humiliated by the Grand Jury watering down the charges to a misdemeanor. When they didn't even interview the employees of Shadys who said they how it started inside, who threw the first punch, etc, they told me all I needed to know. The only reason we found out about all of this was because they talked to the media...they said the police never interviewed them.
