Wyatt has plenty of experience with players of all positions including QBs. His whole facility and staff focuses on tailoring the program to each individual player. For JJ he would go through the whole program and also get individual attention to QB footwork which is arguable more than half the battle for a QB but in JJ's case the main thing he needs to work on.

Shepard is one of the counselors at Clarkson's camp and former student. But a little off topic because he focuses on HS athletes unlike Wyatt and Shepard continued to work with Blake while at LSU.

I still think it would be nice if Brees would give him some pointers:D

I hope he's watching a lot of game video. His ability to quickly read a defense this year is key to everything.

That is also the case. Spending a lot of time in the film room.

This is all very encouraging. Someone who works hard will always have my respect even if the results aren't always top-notch.

Yeah, and the Saints players aren't getting any coaching either. Same must be true for all the QBs attending the Mannig passing camp too!

I believe that jefferson is the key for LSu to return to the promised land. when Jamarcus russell was young i remember him constantly being ridiculed but then he turned out to be one of the best QB's in LSU (at least while playing for lsu), but one concern i have is that while crowton has been at lsu i have not seen one QB improve i saw Matt flynn have a so so year after having alot of hype, Jarrett lee come in and set records for pick sixes then looking even worse in his one start against LA Tech the next year, then Jefferson having a conservative in 09 he went 8-23 in the Spring and never eclipsed 50% in any scrimmage , to compete next year JJ has to improve and not get worse

    Great article.

It's all going to come down to his confidence level. That in turn will either help him make decisions quickly and correctly, or a lot of the same as the past 2 years where he can't pull the trigger.

His time is now. He needs to flourish. If he does, it will mean big things for LSU this year.
