Vilma Charged With Reckless Driving, Resisting Arrest

    POSTED: 10:34 pm CST January 16, 2009

According to police reports, Vilma was arrested in Miami, where he lives during the Saints off-season.

Vilma, a former University of Miami player, was charged with reckless driving and resisting arrest.

According to WSVN-TV in Miami, police said Vilma had been in his Range Rover weaving through traffic, ran a red light and nearly hit two pedestrians.

The report said Vilma had an exchange with police and he refused to move away from his vehicle.

He was arrested and booked into the Miami-Dade County Jail, where he bonded out at about 11 p.m. EST.

You can take a player out of "the U" but it appears you can't take "the U" out of a player. Just another "soulja" doing his thang to uphold the reputation of "the U".:thumb:

I never understood the whole resisting arrest thing. I mean, really, does he think he can win? I've never been placed on a pedestal, so I guess it's all about ego.
