the NCAA said in the joint statement:
"NCAA rules are clear that student-athletes may not accept money for items they sign, and based on information provided by Manziel, that did not happen in this case."

What else would he say, "I'm glad you sat me down NCAA, I did in fact take money to sign autographs.."

NCAA investigators met with Manziel on Sunday, questioning him whether he accepted payments for autographs, a source familiar with the investigation told ESPN.com on Monday night.
"I am proud of the way Johnny handled this situation with integrity and honesty," A&M chancellor John Sharp said. "We all take the Aggie Code of Honor very seriously."

    LOL

I'm not sure there has ever been a more dislikable player in the history of college football. I mean come on dude, trash talking Rice? Acting like you are signing an autograph, again..... Against RICE!!???

I have never wished for anyone to get hurt, but if it happens to this prick it will not hurt my feelings one bit. One of these days someone is going to break his fucking nose.

How bad was it? I didn't see the game. You'd think the guy would be going out of his way to be acting like a class act, being he just had high ranking aTm officials stick their neck out for him and even praising his character...not to mention the NCAA taking it so easy on him.... acting like an ass in his first game back...that would be like a cop pulling you over for going over the speed limit, letting you go with a warning...then getting in your car, thumbing your nose at the cop as you floor it and spin your tires as you blast off with your pedal to the metal..

He acted like he was signing an autograph. And then got flagged after a TD and Sumlin benched him, and admitted that's why he benched him.

I mean if I'm the NCAA and this guy just made my organization look stupid, and he comes out in a game and taunts an opponent by acting like he is signing an autograph, I'm suspending him again. He obviously takes nothing serious except himself and his ego and I cannot wait until the day in the future when I'm reading about how a once promising athlete is in jail for something like theft or embezzlement.
