http://www.ajc.com/sports/content/sports/gatech/stories/2008/01/31/techtenuta_0201.html Good hire for them from a schematic standpoint. I have a gigantic man crush on Tenuta's defense. Not sure its a good move for team chemistry, which Notre Dame doesn't seem to have a lot of. I guess it also all but makes Mallory and Peveto official as well.
show me how many Superbowl rings you have, sir. It isn't Weis' fault he was left with a program with all seniors. They'll be back.
Wanted him but it a way I didn't. I preferred not to have him so as not to validate Herbgravelroad's statement linking he and Miles to Michigan. If he came to LSU you know Herbie would be saying "I told you so!"
If Tenuta was so great, don't you think he could've gotten a HC job somewhere, hell - he couldn't even get a DC job!
Is this a joke. He had been there a couple of years before the disaster this year. So when the team of "all seniors" graduated, he had guys he recruited who were then sophomores. Obviously saying he doesn't know what he is doing is ridiculous but so is saying this years wasn't his fault.
1. Superbowl rings as an OC don't mean anything as a head coach in college football. 2. Weis was left with a program with primarily Jr's, thus their 2 years of success & sudden down-fall. And in 2 years, despite great recruiting classes, he has yet to develop a single player. 3. ND will be back, but it's because Weis will grow as a coach & learn how to run a program - in addition to a healthy serving of service academies.
