What's really strange is all the guys who went through a coaching change, Jalen Collins RS freshman, Eric Reid, Loston, Simon, struggled in coverage, while the true freshman Jalen Mills who has only known Corey Raymond as his college coach, was easily our best cover guy.

Meaning what? Jalen Collins is a redshirt Freshman, and Jalen Mills is a true freshman?

Meaning exactly what I said. I think my post was pretty clear. 3 sentences. Read them again if you want.

I was just trying to figure out what the purpose of the year they were born was, what your point was, that they were young or what?

No one can fault Chavis. His guys were asked to do too much. If I'm Chavis first thing I'm doing when I get back is have a long talk with Miles about him stranding the defense out there and changes needing to be made or I walk.

100 plays defended....nothing else needs to be said! I wonder if there has ever been any defense that was on the field for 100 plays and won the game?

Clemson averages 49 PPG, on what cannot be an average of anywhere near 100 plays per game, so we held them to half their PPG average on what's probably at least 20 more plays than they run, that's nothing short of a miracle if you ask me. Our defense is not as good as 2011, but it's still a great defense. If the 3 losses this season aren't an indication that LSU relies solely on its defense to win games I don't know what is. Too often has Les Miles put our success on the shoulders of our D. It's high time we had an offense that had the defense's back like the defense has had the offense's back.
