That 4th and 16 throw to Hopkins on Reid was an incredible throw.

clemson in average scored 41 points a game in 50 plays this year. against LSU they scored 25 in 100 plays. We know we suck on last drive of game, but we have one first down more we win this game. defense can improve, but changes are much more urgent on the offensive side of the ball, where we are very bad.

I don't think our defense was as conditioned this season as last year. They really prepped themselves for the Oregon game, and it carried over for the rest of the season. However, it seemed like the defense wore down in the fourth quarter this year. Come on, a team from Louisiana should never complain about the heat in Florida. Cheif needs to kick ass and take names this offseason and work those boys like he did two years ago.

Actually I think our secondary was just bad this year, front 4 was very good, LB corps was very good, the secondary...was bad....good qb's threw the ball all over our secondary.

Shitty ones did, too. Namely Tyler Russel & Bo Wallace.

Yep that just proves my point even more.....secondary was very bad......I know they were young, but they should not be making the same mistakes at the endo of the year that they made in the begining.

Right. I understand that we lost a ton of talent, but we were also returning some guys and we generally recruit very well at DB. They didn't just look average or like they needed improvement; they looked downright awful the last 4 games of the season. Awful. Huge gain after huge gain, and we couldn't even stop teams on 4th and a mile, when we knew they'd be throwing it. I couldn't understand why clemson kept trying to run the ball the other night. I kept saying to myself that they should just keep passing and we'd be dead meat.
