Idon't understand his hire at Arkansas. I guess the new HC figured he didn't want to take a chance. But, Chavis had limited success here and even less success at A&M. Seems like the new HC would have wanted some up and comer.... I mean they won't necessarily be A, but there has to be a couple of young DCs who are ready.
I wondered the same thing. He hasn’t been successful lately, in a “what have you done for me lately” job field. I’d be inclined to think it was either a last-ditch hire, or Chavis told them 3rd downs weren’t a problem... but then failed to specify for which team.
