At 84, I guess you could say that about anyone, but apparently JoePa has had 3 mini strokes within the past month, is no longer allowed to drive, and his short term memory is shot. The source is a blog, so TIFWIW.

Rumor Mill: Outback Bowl To Be JoePa’s Final Game | The School Philly

BroBible.com | BLIND RUMOR: Tony Dungy to Replace Joe Paterno at Penn State in 2011?

I'm not sure if I believe Tony Dungy is the lead candidate to succeed him (I always thought Penn. St. was the Alabama coach's dream job), but I do think there may be something to his health and that the Outback Bowl might be his last game.

It's a good thing JoePa is completely unaware of these rumors.

I hope he's ok and I wish him the best.

I also wish that Saban will go take his place.....IMMEDIATELY.

Not sure why PSU would entertain Dungy, who would be there no more than 5 years max.

Seems like they would want a long term solution.
