Oh, I see. How long of a suspension would marijuana have merited? Don't give me that semantics sh1t. Given this scenario and this being posted on another teams' forum we'd be laughing our azzes off if someone used that as a mitigating factor.
Meaning, if they don't mess up between now and then. Every suspension is always "barring unforeseen circumstances"....
I gotta agree with you on this one. Synthetic is illegal in LA, period. Thing is, they probably used synthetic thinking it would be easier to get away with. To hide it. I know a lot of people are of the opinion that weed should be legal. I'm not one of them, but I'm also not gonna get into a legal, political, or religious debate on a football forum. But the fact is, it's illegal whether you think it should be or not.
Awe, Fishhead we finally agree on something. I knew you would come to the darkside. This means you have to disagree with Tirk though.
My POV is that if a player breaks a rule that doesn't involve an NCAA infraction, then I would rather the coach inflict a team punishment (entire team has to run sprints at 5am in Tiger Stadium, entire team needs to sweep and clean the stadium after Saturday's game, entire team has early curfew for weeks, etc.), without keeping players from playing in a game.
Illegal means illegal. CLM says to say no to drugs than you should say no to drugs. My question is???is this their frist positive test? Must not be if they are going to sit out one game? Right?
Well I am so ignorant I'd NEVER heard of synthetic weed. I have no feelings as to whether it should be legalized or not but people forget that alcohol used to be also. Sure, it's ruined a lot of lives as marijuana might/would but life is about choices. Okay, enough of that. You're much more fun to disagree with. :yelwink2:
