John Curtis came out & said he is not going to Bama & neither is his son. Saban wanted him bad though.
I absolutely agree that Saban is not universally hated and he probably has tons of friends sticking by him. The hatred is probably confined to a small group of Dolphin fans. However, a lot of people question his honesty and if they can trust him.
I've mentioned it before on other threads, but feel it's necessary to mention it again. JT Curtis is the headmaster at John T Curtis Christian School. I would be shocked and amazed if there were any truth to this ridiculous rumor. As an alum of JCCS, I do personally know JT, and yes, he is a man of character. Not one to walk away and leave the school hanging. His whole family works at the school, so he would not leave them without a staff, by any means. But he is and has been THE authoritative figure there since his dad stepped down, and eventually passed away. In fact, I attended in the late 80's, and he was THE authoritative figure then. He is a LEGEND there, and the school would not be what it is without him. I seriously doubt he would do anything to damage the legacy of his father or himself.
Sure hope Curtis don't follow Saban's style of denial and end up damaging his own legacy like Saban.:hihi: I doubt he will.
Thats undersandable and makes sense, however I want them all. Dont want to lose a single one to Saban/bammer that we want. Also, without being too obvious I was proding my bammer co-worker about the coaching staff and when announcements were supposed to be made. He said nothing about a press conference tomorrow but said there was one today by Saban where he announced, among other things, 2 more coaches being added. I asked him when he was expecting more hires and he said next week. Sounds to me like this rumor about some PC tomorrow is bogus.
Did you know he wore a GOLD shirt at today's presser?! The AMAB fans are going to go crazy with all the purple and gold gear $aban has sported since his arrival there!
