    not to derail the thread, but rings depend on the luck of the draw, as what kind of team you are playing on. Some of the greatest running backs, never won a ring.

    I'm just saying that I don't think it's a coincidence the Giants got theirs the year after loudmouth left the team.

    But either way, my general point is that McKnight doesn't love football. Not yet, anyway.

    Maybe its his enviroment, if he was at LSU where he would have major support, he probably would love it more.

    USC was the worst choice for a kid needing motivation for football. They would rather go surfing out there than watch a football game.

    I bet things would have turned out differently had he come to LSU.

    LSU didn't want to give him the "signing bonus" USC was willing to give him.
