Joe Horn may have failed his physical. If so then releaseing him was a no-brainer.

Veteran wide receiver Joe Horn passed his physical and met with Falcons' coaches and staff members Tuesday, according to a person with knowledge of the developments. Contract talks may have taken place after Horn passed the physical, the person said, however Horn did leave the team's Flowery Branch facility late Tuesday afternoon without a completed deal.

Dammit, Joe. Why go to the Falcons and become Public Enemy No. 1 for all of your adoring Saints fans?

And maybe they can make it back to the NFC Championship game and get blown out without him again, but IMO there will be a big need at WR with him gone. The Saints did great making it as far as they did last year, but the key is getting better and doing more with so much cap money to spend.
