Honest question... is Brady someone who can teach fundamentals and mechanics? He is obviously excellent as a scheamer, but that doesn't mean he can coach QBs. I don't know what his experience is as a position coach.
Well, he sure taught our receivers how to catch everything that comes their way. And no one else at LSU has done any better at developing QBs.
He has one year experience as a LB coach at William & Mary, one year experience as a GQ at Penn State, and one year experience as a QA with the Saints. Again, what the man has done at LSU speaks for itself. But, I see nothing in his resume that indicates he can be a position coach for QBs. Maybe he can. There is nothing in his resume that would indicate he can scheme offenses as he obviously can. But, there is a difference in being able to develop a great offensive scheme and knowing and teaching the technical aspects of a particular position.
Yeah, I don't think we hired him to be the QB coach, think that is a misconception of what his job is. For sure he has done wonders with the offensive scheme which is what a coordinator does. So nothing to really say but they still need to have the right people in the right places to be successful. Carry on.
Whether he can have an effect on QB mechanics is one thing, but his job is to produce a scheme that works to the abilities of the players. That, he has clearly demonstrated. In
