I hear what you're saying, but at the same time, can you name another assistant that's not an OC or DC making that much? Plus, I'm sure there's discussions about him becoming LSU's OC in the next year or so. At the end of the day, he's gonna get paid. It really just comes down to whether he wants to stay at LSU or grind away in the pressure cooker of the largest media market in the NFL. Hopefully, the Giants don't overpay to get him and the article is accurate.

Panthers owner David Tepper is worth $12 billion and doesn't mind spending whatever it takes to get what he wants. If he wants Brady well, it was fun while it lasted.

    FANATIC ...

You want me to show you another making that money ...

I’ll turn the tables on you ...

Show me another coach that can do what Brady does (dissect defenses) ...

How did the Great Lincoln Riley do?
The Lord Master of Disaster of Playcalling

The old coaching models and paradigms are dead ... We’re playing NEW AGE FB

    NEW AGE STATS & SCHEMES

Guys like Brady are pioneers and prodigies of geniuses like Sean Peyton

They watch 70 hrs video a week and keep up with NEW AGE STATS

Recruit supreme athletes that are versatile ... Install new age schemes

Know why Stingley is such a badass?
Not that his dad was who he was ...
He played WR and DB ... Hes the most versatile DB on the field ... A freshman

The New SEC Contracts demand that we (LSU) set the pay scales ...

    Saban’s shit-for-Asst-pay Model is a Giant F-ing Fail ...

Name me 10 Saban Assts ... Go look at the crap pay they made at Alabama while their egomaniacal dwarf was getting TOP PAY ...

You’re clearly a Quitter and believer that $$$ buys anything, even loyalty ... It doesn’t

    Oeaux isn’t a Quitter ... Hearts and Minds ...
You ASS/U/ME Brady has no choice huh!

Pay Brady $2+ mil with incentives and make him the highest paid in a well thought out and conceived

    NEW ASST COACHING TITLE ...

CALL HIM OFFENSIVE ANALYST 1 (OA-1)
He will have two GA’s, an OA-2 and OA-3
These will follow his lead and instruction and be paid accordingly ...

Brady won’t leave because Everyone wants to see what he can do with Myles Brennan ...

    Especially Brady ...

Here’s another point ... THE HIGHEST PAID ASST makes $2.5 mil ... DC Dave Aranda
Venables is second at $2 mil ... How come Ensminger makes $900K

I don't disagree with anything you're saying. My point is, we're not going to let him go. This is kind of a unique situation that both sides were trying to work through. Plus, I think Woodward is way more savvy then Alleva, so even now, if someone does come comes a-callin', it's not like there's nothing we can do about it. Just my opinion, but I think but if he leaves, it will be for reasons other than money (to a certain extent). I'm just glad it got done so it can no longer be used as a distraction.

Not wrong! No one is irreplaceable! Yes Brady must be one hell of a passing game coordinator and yes that's his title not OC, would you agree with that? You would be dead wrong to think E didn't have a huge part of our 2019 success. You would also be wrong to think O is not already ahead of this Brady thing and looking at who he would replace him with. Once again no one is irreplaceable.

I’ve come to realize more and more as the season went how much E is responsible for this spread offense, and give him a lot of credit. I also think Brady takes that offense to another level with his NFL type focus on matchups. He has brought it to the next level. While no one is irreplaceable, as you say, the relationship he and E have has resulted in an explosive offense and that, my friend, is very difficult to replace. You complain of others not giving E credit, but you constantly minimize Brady’s influence. Why would other colleges and NFL teams be coming at him? It’s not hype, as you seem to think.

You are wrong about my minimizing Brady. This whole year all I heard here is E is awful, E is old, E sits in the press box and and drinks cokes while Brady does everything, E needs to retire and blah, blah blah. All I did is defend E's experience and his contribution to this offense. Brady obviously came in and added a lot to our offense. And YES Brady is replaceable everyone is replaceable. The program will succeed with Brady and E that's a given but with O at the helm we WILL replace Brady and E should they leave or retire.

I think you’re underestimating his value. We will not be the same offense if he were to move on, I guaronnnttteeee it. If he remains, even for a few years, we’ll be a juggernaut for the rest of CF to deal with.
