    It would be nice to have a little less politics and a little more action on the jobs front. From both of these half-assed parties.

    Sorry, but de-regulation helped get us in to this mess, I don't think it will get us out.

    This is Wall St. in bed with both parties rigging the game in their favor. They make billions over the years and when the market finally bite them in the ass they have their paid minions in congress bail them out.

    This is also about left-wing social engineering in the form of fannie and freddie causing a housing bubble because no one involved in the transaction had to incur any risk. The homeowner, the mortgage agent, the investment banks...it was pass the buck all the way down to the taxpayer.

    It's also dip**** Americans living beyond their means and crying about it now that the bill has come due.

    They blame it all on Bush but the liberals were neck deep in making this meltdown happen. Check this out.
    Acorn Helping Illegal Aliens Get Home Loans | Home Loan Modification Research

    There was no way that this should have happened. This is one of many reasons the bubble burst.

    Democrats forced banks to loan to people that were low income and when it fell apart they blamed Bush. Bush tried to bring this up and was blasted by democrats like Frank. Here is a quote from an article about it:

    I didn't tidy this up, but it's all here. If you want to cut to the chase you can click on the last two links which document the facts in video including a timeline and video of how Andrew Cuomo, Barney Frank and noneother than Barack Hussein Obama himself are personally responsible for the financial collapse. Just as importantly, they document how President Bush tried to warn the Democrats about the danger and was rejected.

    ====

    Another critical fact suppressed by the liberal press.

    President Bush warned several times over a multi year period prior to the housing collapse that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac in particular were making loans that were too risky and posed a threat to the economy. He also warned that lax lending legislation, created almost exclusively by Democrats, that forced banks to make loans to low income individuals who were poor credit risks posed a serious danger to the entire economy and urged Congress to undo those laws in order to reduce the risk.

    The Democrats opposed every warning and stated repeatedly that he was wrong, accused him of discriminating against the poor and minorities and refused to heed the warnings blocking any attempts to change the legislation.

    This is documented fact. There are even videos of both sides of it (as well as it being on official public record), including one of Barney Frank who headed the most pertinent committee in Congress related to this saying that the system was safe, that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were completely sound and that President Bush was wrong.

    These are CRITICAL facts about which there has been a systematic propaganda distortion by the media and the left. It is critical because it means that President Bush tried to head off the housing collapse (which was what caused the economic collapse), but it was the Democrats that refused to take measures to avoid it.

    Here is a link to the site this quote came from.
    How The Democrats Caused The Financial Crisis & Pres. Bush Tried To Prevent It

    Now the democrats blame this meltdown on republicans but it was their policy of forcing banks through Fannie and Freddy to give loans to low income families and even illegal immigrants. They tricked the American people to beliving it was Bush's fault and the republicans fault. Now the American people are seeing that the democrats are useless and have no way for us to get out of the ditch they dug. They passed trillion dollar bills to pay back their supporters and trillion dollar bills to give away tax payer funded healthcare. All of their supporters were paid back with taxpayer money and more people than ever are getting government assistance. What has this gotten us? Sky high unemployment and economy ruining debt with no end in sight. Obama will lose his job in 2012 and the senate will go republican. The democrats pulled the wool over the eyes of the voters last potus election but in the midterms the voters screamed that they have seen the error in their judgement and next election will be the worst beating the democratic party has ever seen. Hopefully it will take a generation for the democrats to recover from 2012.
