I am surprised nobody has started a thread about the ongoing questions over possible job offers to senate candidates by the White House. It comes up at nearly every press briefing, though Gibbs didn't bother to answer it for several months, and now CO senate candidate Romanoff says jobs were floated at him if he left the race. Since Obama promised to do things differently and to be the most transparent admin, do no Obama supporters have a problem with this? Is the defense that all administrations do this(can you prove this?) really a defense for this behavior? Trying to influence somebody's vote is not particularity savory but that may be the price of doing business in congress. But is offering jobs to influence elections the same thing? No problem here? Really?
An Obama Administration Job for Sen. Specter? - Political Punch Arlen Specter seeks a job in return for his vote. What a #$%&^!
At what point did New Kids On The Block realize they were no longer cool? Or did someone have to tell them, other than the American people? Time to get in the box Arlen. You don't want to be around for the health care change. Doubt you would survive it anyway.
I'm joining the movement to not vote for ONE single incumbent. Not only this but they take special interest monies and become whores.
