Tell me how many times JJ almost threw a pick? What if the ULL defenders could catch the football? :cuss:
Yeah but suppose that almost pick was the result of TT running the route wrong? The quarterback is just half of the problem when interceptions occur. So many things we don't know
JJ is the future or not, we'll wait 'til after the Bama game. The Auburn's D was awful last night, they didn't have the secondary. Well, give credit where it's due, Crowton and JJ were very good last night and hope they keep winning for us. JL is a very competent backup for us; so I never panic when JJ goes down.
Crowton didn't do good... it was terrible defense. After the first couple of series the offense looked horrible. Auburn basically gave the whole 1st quarter away with penalties then turnovers. Any guy calling option pitch plays 90% to the short side of the field game in and game out has no idea what he is doing. He's got all these personnel packages and the look all out sync, even last night. The announcers were talking about it all night.
i'll agree that AU is no formidable foe right now BUT: -the O line played better tonight -JJ did just about everything you could hope for other than his fumble. his pass for the 1 st TD to TT was a beauty. he needs to progress through his reads a little better, but he's getting there. he made a few good checkdowns at the line too including the outlet to keiland in the early 1st quarter for a 1st down when he read blitz. -crowton did many many things better this week including utilizing the short/quick passing game, rolling out JJ, eliminating the meerkat and throwing deep to keep the D honest. my only real complaint is that he has too many designed runs for JJ, i like a few but especially on the series when he fumbled, he ran JJ too much in that series. my major complaint with the O tonight was the drops by the WR's. but that will come and go. TT had as many good plays as he has drops and lafell has always been inconsistent but overall that's probably just being nitpicky.
