It's a good thing I read your qualifier before I started writing. You are absolutely right .. he can't "light it up" when he only gets to play half time. BUT ...

The "half time" he is in ... he's lighting it up quite nicely.

:geaux: Great read!! :thumb: This kid's got so much character and has been through fires most of us can only imagine. And through it all he stuck it out and refused to be beaten when most kids, anyone for that matter, would have crumbled under what he went through! I'm behind Jarret Lee 100% and wish him only the very best at LSU. He's earned it. :LSU231:

Yeah, I agree. With the trials and tribulations he has been thru and how much better he is playing now, how can you not root for this kid to start and pray for his success?

We may not have found a starter worth giving up on this season, at least not to Miles, but we may have found our starter for next season. Hopefully Lee can keep progressing and getting the support from the coaches. He deserves it.:geaux:

I agree and think it'd be the icing on the cake if he led LSU to another SECC/NC... couldn't happen to a better kid.

I recall a couple of other QB's in recent years, who given the chance to progress, led teams to greatness. Would/could be another. Deserves all props he can get.

I have tremendous admiration for him. There's a "Rudy" story emerging with this kid.

7 and 0 is good enough. Just my heart can't take the way we're winning.

In order for lee to make a complete comeback jj would have to be reduced to 2nd string and lee named the starter. That will not happen. I wish it would. Maybe later in the season. Jj's play vs fl was enough for miles to stay with the 2 qb thing

My father used to always say... "Attitude is everything"

Don't know that it could be more true then with our QB's.

In the press JL stills sounds a little nervous, but he's very careful to never throw anyone under the bus. He knows what everyone is saying... he knows how JJ is doing... he probably even knows he should start, but he realizes that's not his decision, and he can only control so much. Seems to be a great kid.
