He has a long way to go. Chavis won this game for LSU.

Compare JJ now to when he is a senior. Then you'll understand.
Look at the championship QB's we've had. All experienced playcallers. And in our worst years we've had YOUNG QB's playing extensively

2 and 1/2 months and his college career is half over? Are you serious? Talk about making something out of nothing

    What's a serie?

Well, LSU is 5-0 so he is obviously not a horrible answer. Yes, he had about 4 sacks that were his fault. No doubt, he needs to seriously work on that. Even with all those sacks he had positive rush yards. He also needs to learn how to run the option. I can deal with one pick in the end zone. That sucked for LSU, but $hit happens when you throw out routes in the end zone.

However, he completed almost 67% of his passes (14% better than Joe Cox who was playing at home), threw for over 200+ yards and had an awesome run on our 2nd to last drive for 27 yards. Don't forget he had multiple drops from LaFell, Dickson and a nice screen to KW.

UGA's defenders were all over our guys for much of the game and he put the majority of his passes in tight spots. The CBS announcers mentioned it a few times.

This was really his first gigantic road game. Other than the sacks and taking too long to make decisions, I thought he did pretty well. If he was really bad we would have lost a close one like this.

I think he needs to do a better/faster job of getting rid of the ball when his protection collapses, at least when he is already 10 yards behind scrimmage. There were a few 'tuck and runs' that were the right call since since the pressure had already blown past him.
